Three deceased in Khayelitsha shooting

Three men were found deceased at 02:00 on Tuesday morning, according to police spokesperson, Novela Potelwa. Two men were found inside the vehicle, with the third man found outside.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) is urging anyone with information that could assist the investigation to come forward. SAPS noted that all information will be dealt with "strict confidence". Courtesy: Unsplash. 

The deceased persons and the vehicle were located in Mbekweni Street, Site C in Khayelitsha.

The victims are aged between 30 and 40 years of age, according to Potelwa, in a media statement for the South African Police Service.

“The identities of the deceased persons, the ownership of the vehicle and motive behind the shooting are the subject of a police investigation,” said Potelwa.

A triple murder docket has been opened at the Khayelitsha police station.
