33 year old woman arrested for hit and run of 18 year old model

 A 33-year-old woman will be appearing in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court on Friday after being arrested in the hit-and-run.

According to Lieutenant Marnus Fouriethe, the 18 year old model, Olivia Sieff was leaving a night spot in Claremont when the incident happened.

Provincial police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg said the driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the accident, and the victim was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel.

Police were able to locate the driver from the local CCTV footage and detained her at Claremont Police Station as a suspect. Yesterday the suspect was charged for culpable homicide and leaving the scene of an accident without ascertaining injuries or damage (hit and run).
