18-year-old stabbed and killed outside of pub in Limpopo

Tubatse Police have arrested two brothers, aged 16 and 19, for allegedly killing 18-year-old Thabo Mokwena in Parktiseer, Limpopo on Boxing Day. On arrival, police found the victim’s body outside the “Mama She Is” pub with stab wounds. The body was later identified as Mokwena.

Police spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo says the suspects allegedly stabbed and killed the victim at the local pub.

Provincial Commissioner in Limpopo, Lietenant General Thembi Hadebe, has warned people about abusing alcohol, as it has become a major contributor to crime escalation, especially murder and assault.

The suspects will appear in Praktiseer Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday facing a charge of murder.
