A TV, laptop, food, and clothing parcels were stolen by thieves who broke into the Gift of the Givers offices. The suspects were arrested in Cape Town on Tuesday.
The organisation provides emergency aid to
those who need it when disasters such as fires and flooding strike.
According to the founder Imtiaz Sooliman, the
neighbours gave the video footage to the police. They could see seven men came
into the office and all of them have since been caught.
Sooliman claimed that the thieves were not poor
or hungry people, but greedy criminals.
