Suspect arrested for possession of bags stuffed with dagga outside Nelspruit

 

A 29-year-old suspect, Ntando Ntimane was arrested for possession of bags stuffed with 114 Kg of dagga that have a value of R1 710 000. The bags were found in a hidden sugarcane farm, 2 kilometres from Nelspriut on Wednesday.

The Malelane police recieved a tip-off from the members of a local security company that there is a suspicious vehicle. The police found the location of the vehicle, and they only found the driver with bags with different name tags on them stuffed with dagga .

The driver, Ntimane was arrested and appeared in Nkomazi Magistrate's court in Tonga yesterday, where he was granted R1 000-00 bail.

Ntimane will make his second appear in Court on the 3rd of February 2023.
