Daniels has been in this position since September 2015. He has worked in all sectors – government, civil society and private. His work in education, training and development focuses on adult learning, leadership and management.

He is the recipient of the United Nations-sponsored Karmaveer Award for his contribution to leadership development which he collected in New Delhi, India in November 2013.

Noel also served on the boards of the Cape Cultural Collective and was the chairperson of Darkroom Contemporary Dance Theatre.

Bush Radio’s Programme Integrator, Adrian Louw, says he is shocked at the sudden passing of Daniels. Daniels was part of two programmes at the station, namely, the Cornerstone Critical Dialogues and Community Champions.

Louw described Daniels as a strong supporter and advisor to the Bush Radio organisation. He added that his loss will leave a big gap within civil society, education and in people’s lives, in general.

‘’His loss will leave a big gap within civil society, education and in all our lives in general. To his family, thank you for sharing Noel with us.  To his colleagues, keep doing the work, in this way we will honour him. To his friends, strength and cherish the memories,’’ said Adrian Louw, Bush Radio’s Programme Integrator.
