SAPS says it's parts of its nationwide Safer Festive Season Campaign, which was launched in Khayelitsha, on Friday.

National Police Commissioner, Fannie Masemola, was in Bellville where some of the seizures took place.

‘’Here we have got a warehouse and huge shops that contain fake clothing as well as fake watches. This operation is not going to end here. We will see such operations countrywide.’’

‘’This kills the economy of South Africa, because these goods are fake, and we as South Africa, we are just consumers of fake goods, where someone out of the country is gaining economically the resources of this country,’’ he added.
