City of Cape Town concerned about crime in tourism

Authorities have expressed concern about the high rate of crime in Table Mountain National Park.

It is reported that the park has noted increases in robberies on Lion’s Head, Rhodes Memorial, and Signal Hill since August this year.

Though the tourism industry has a hopeful outlook for the upcoming summer months, authorities warn that escalating crime could pose a significant threat.

The park is working with the City of Cape Town to try and address the increase in crime.
