Limpopo opens a new Clinic unit

The Limpopo Health MEC, Doctor Phophi Ramathuba, will hand over a revamped pediatric ward at the FH Odendaal Hospital in Modimolle in the Waterberg district on Thursday.

The handover follows the commitment by the department to revamp the child and maternal health complex at the hospital.

Ramathuba will also show support to the team of doctors who are performing the Rural Health Matters outreach programme in the area. Ramthuba’s spokesperson, Thilivhali Muavha, says the MEC is committed to prioritising maternal and child health in the province.

“We are thrilled to see the completion of the newly revamped pediatric ward, a vital component of our healthcare facility. It will provide quality care, support, and resources to help children recover quickly and safely. This achievement demonstrates our commitment to providing excellent infrastructure to ensure the efficient delivery of healthcare services,” said MEC Ramathuba.
