Teenage boy fatally stabbed in Mitchell’s Plain

Mitchell's Plain police are investigating a case of murder, after a teenage boy was fatally stabbed at the Mitchell’s Plain Southern Terminal taxi rank, on Wednesday afternoon.



It is alleged that the boy was stabbed as he stole a cellphone. The police’s Wesley Twigg says the motive for the attack are under investigation.

‘’Mitchell's Plain police registered a murder case for investigation following a stabbing incident on 2024-04-10 in 4th Avenue, Mitchell's Plain where a 15 year old boy was stabbed to death,’’ said Sergeant Wesley Twigg.

‘’Police members were called to the crime scene where they found the victim with a stab wound to his body. The victim was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. The suspect/s are yet to be arrested,’’ he added.
