Two suspects freed after being hijacked in Nelspruit

On Wednesday, two people were hijacked then kidnapped by their attackers, which the police are currently investigating the incident. According to the police a meeting was held just outside Nyongane primary school in Hayziview when this incident occurred as they were trying to attend to the mechanical problem the car had.

During that time three suspects that were allegedly armed came out of know where forcing the two victims to get into the back of the car as they drove away The incident was immediately reported by the community members of Hayziview to the police, which they were able to trace the stolen vehicles.

According to Colonel Donald Mdhluli, later that evening the two victims were found safe, as well as the vehicles that were deserted by the suspects. The police are still in search of the suspects and anyone who knows their whereabouts is urged to call the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111.
