The community of Evaton wants justice after the tragic deaths of three young siblings from the Mokhatla family.
Tshepiso, Moeketsi and
Rethabile fell ill last week after arriving at school and were rushed to a
clinic where they were declared dead, it is understood they ate pap, milk and
breakfast before they left for school.
The tragedy came as a shock to
educators and learners at Evaton Primary School, local community and the family
of the victims are under police investigation.
The community complained about
police’s failure to heed calls to investigate those closest to the dead
children.
According to community
members, "Police need to answer, if is there anything tangible that has
been found that can link anyone to this gruesome passing of these young people?
with the children laid to rest, the family must contend with the burning
question of what caused the deaths”.
The three siblings from Evaton
primary school were laid to rest over the weekend.
