Nearly four months after the George building collapse, investigations are still ongoing with no updates provided.
In May , an unfinished apartment building
collapsed, killing 34 construction workers among the 62 present. Multiple organizations,
including SAPS and the Department of Labour, are involved, but none have
reported back to the province.
Western Cape Premier Alan Winde urged
stakeholders to expedite their inquiries, emphasizing the need for
accountability and closure as soon as possible.
