Opportunistic criminals took advantage of load shedding. A 47-year-old man was shot and killed in Manenberg on Monday night during rolling power cuts.
Police confirmed that the incident occurred at about 21:10 in the parking area of Erica Court.

community came out to investigate they found a male, with a fatal gunshot wound
to his head. The suspect/s fled the scene on foot. No arrests has been made
thus far. A case of murder has been opened for investigation,'' said Captain
F.C van Wyk Western Cape police spokesperson.
