PICTURE: Google MapsLast week, a man was found with multiple stabbed
wounds on an open field on Baden Powell Drive. It is believed that his body
found dumped in Macassar. On Monday, the body of an unidentified man who
sustained fatal injuries was found near Sandvlei.
Police confirmed the latest discovery was made
on Human Rights Day near the Wolfgat Nature reserve.
‘’The circumstances surrounding this incident
are still under investigation. Mitchells plain police responded to a complaint
on Friday, 21 March 2025. Upon arrival
on Baden Powel drive the found the body of an unidentified male. The victim was
declared deceased on the scene by the medical personnel. Mitchells Plain police
registered an inquest for further investigation,’’ said Warrant Officer Joseph
Swartbooi, Western Cape police spokesperson.
