Honda Motor Southern Africa has recalled three of its Civic vehicles.
According to the car manufacturer, the recall is necessary for
the CIVIC 4 door, CIVIC TYPE R 5 door, and CR-V5 door, due to the EPS Gear Box
Worm Wheel Swelling Failure.
‘’According to the supplier, the steering gearbox could
result in abnormal noise or dangerous sticking when turning the steering,’’
said Honda Motor Southern Africa, in a statement.
These vehicles, it says, were made available for sale from
2022 to 2025. Consumers are urged to take the affected vehicles to the
suppliers to replace affected parts.
