Makhaza police in Khayelitsha arrested suspects for firearm and ammunition possession. This follows operation Restore that assisted a vehicle tracking company to trace a vehicle, which was stolen during a house robbery in Makhaza earlier. to Sergeant Wesley Twigg, one suspect was found in possession of a 9mm pistol
without a serial number and 12 rounds of ammunition. They face charges for the
possession of a stolen motor vehicle and the illegal possession of a firearm
and ammunition.

says they are expected to appear in the Khayelitsha Magistrates’ court once
they have been charged.
