“In an unrelated matter, members of Operation Shanela deployed in Gugulethu to combat crime on Sunday afternoon stopped a vehicle of which the driver was driving reckless in NY4, Gugulethu. Upon searching the vehicle and the occupants, they found a 9mm pistol with nine rounds of ammunition in the vehicle. The occupants were unable to account for the firearm and was subsequently arrested for the possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.” Sgt Wesly Twigg
