Belhar police are investigating a murder after a woman was shot and killed in De Waal Road on Tuesday evening.

opened fire on a female, seated inside a motor vehicle, who was declared
deceased on the scene by the medical personnel. The unknown gunmen fled the
scene in a White Toyota Etios and they are yet to be arrested,’’ said Warrant
Officer Joseph Swartbooi, Western Cape police spokesperson.
The motive for the attack is unknown and no arrests has
been made as yet.
