On Saturday a 45-year-old man was stabbed to death outside the KFC branch in Victoria Road, Woodstock.
Richard Stevens was stabbed on the left side of his body with a bread knife after an argument broke out between him and the alleged suspect.
The argument between the two men erupted after the suspect allegedly made a comment to his girlfriend that angered Stevens and the quarrel broke out.
The suspect then drew out a knife and stabbed Stevens to death. The suspect has been charged and is to appear in court soon.
