Resident's new homes vandalised
By Chanel September
7 November 2006
Residents who live on the Nyanga stretch of Klipfontien road cannot move into their new homes as they have been vandalised.
A decision was made to move the residents after a number of accidents happened on that section of the road.
ANC ward councillor Elese Depouch says that the homes were stripped of doors and window frames because they were vacant and unguarded.
Thubelisha homes are to provide temporary accommodation for the group of residents and details of the damages have been given to the city of Cape Town.
