Three suspects were arrested in Delft on Friday for being in possession of stolen car.
The suspects aging between 20, 21 and 29 years were spotted by police during routine patrol checks.
“It was reported that the vehicle was hi-jacked last Thursday just after 9-o-clock in Parow,” says police spokesperson, Captain Eliot Sinyangana.
“They were instructed to immediately pull over off the road, but the suspect drove away at a high speed. A car chase ensued," says Sinyangana.
Police recovered the vehicle in the Tsunami informal settlement.
The suspects are to appear in the Bellville Magistrates Court on Monday, July 9.
