The Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa and SA Rugby have joined forces to launch a fan based website called ‘back-the-Boks’ which will give Springbok supporters unique access to their team over the next few weeks.
“Fans who have access to the internet or a cellular phone will be able to learn more about the great spectacle and even interact with the Springboks,” says SA Rugby Media Manager, Rayaan Adriaanse.
The website is also packed with unique features, including pictures and learning more about the Rugby World Cup. You can even leave a message for the Springboks.
Channels through which actual messages, images and videos of support are uploaded include the web-based entry system and an SMS number.
“Users will experience a personal touch, when their messages are answered by Springbok coach, Jake White, thanking them for their support,” says Adriaanse.
In addition, users will receive unique post-match updates from the Springbok camp.
“Supporters will also receive unique match up dates from the Springbok camp,” says Adriaanse.
Those who are interested can log onto the website at: www.backtheboks.co.za
