The rugby world cup champions the Springboks will not grace the public with their presence on Monday at the airport due to construction happening at the airport.
The announcement follows an agreement between the South African Rugby Union
(SARU), the Springbok team and Cape Town International Airport authorities.“The public should rather make use of the opportunity to go to the street parade, people will see the team more as well as the trophy or go to the appearance at Newlands Ruby stadium, we would like to make the day a memorable event,” says SA Rugby Media and Communication Manager Rayaan Adriaanse.
The Springboks will parade from noon on Monday at the Grand Parade.
