The life of an Elsies River resident was claimed after a drive-by shooting took place in Halt Road on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police a maroon vehicle drove behind the 30-year-old victim’s BMW, but overtook the vehicle and fired several shots at the vehicle fatally wounding the driver.
“All possibilities are being investigated and police are investigating a murder case, but do not have any reason to confirm any suspicions of it being gang related,” says Captain Elliot Sinyangana.
