Police on manhunt for elderly missing man

The Gordon’s Bay Police is requesting of the public's assistance, in finding 71-year-old elderly man.

Preben Povlsen a Canadian national was last seen leaving his house in Chapmen Drive Gordon’s Bay on Monday morning.

According to police on the morning of his disappearance, Povlsen left his home in his blue Mazda 323 (Registration number CEY 29239).

“He and his wife is usually spend this time of the year at their holiday home in Gordons Bay. The rest of the year they live in Sarum, Denmark,” says police spokesperson Bernadine Steyn.

“Preben is bald and has blue-grey eyes. At the time of his disappearance he was dressed in a khaki short, white T-shirt and white takkies,” says Steyn.
