A 27-year-old biker is in a stable condition in hospital after he was found by a man jogging along the R44 near Paarl.
"When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found the man down a 6 to 10m embankment behind an Armco Barrier," says ER24 spokesperson, in a statement, Derrick Banks.
According to officials the man sustained multiple fractures, but was stabilised on the scene before being transported to Durbanville Medi Clinic.
It is believed that the accident occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning.
"The patient can’t however remember how the accident happened or how he ended up at the bottom of the embankment," says Banks.
