# The Kennel Association will hold their 101st championship dog show on Saturday March 1, starting at 8am, at the False Bay Rugby Club in Constantia. An entry of 700 dogs from all around the country is expected and dogs will be competing in confirmation classes as well as obedience, jumping and flyball. Entry is free and spectators are welcome. # The Sky Tonight, an in-depth look at the current night sky, is presented at the Planetarium on Saturdays and Sundays at 1pm. No bookings are required. For enquiries, phone 021 481 3900.

# The Homeless People’s Sanctuary invites the unemployed and homeless to apply for sewing, candlemaking, soapmaking and lifeskills programmes. Apply at the Retreat Community Hall in Concert Boulevard, Retreat. They are also in need of volunteer management committee members, specifically a treasurer and members with expertise in secretarial services. Call 021 702 0462.

# Vibration School of Arts are offering classes in freestyle and hip hop dance from Mondays to Thursdays from 5pm to 6:30pm at the New World Foundation in Grindal Avenue, Lavender Hill.

# Isixhosa classes will be offered free of charge for 2008 at the following libraries: Lotus River library, Wednesdays from 15:00 to 16:00 and Hanover Park Library, Wednesdays from 16:00 to 17:00.
