Klenivlei handicapped boy goes missing

Police are in search of 13 year-old, Nkosikhona Gqozombana who went missing early Friday morning after waiting for his school bus in Kleinvlei.

According to police Gqozombaba is mentally handicapped and attends Dorothea, a special school in Stellenbosch.

“He waited for the school bus but apparently did not board the bus,” says Police spokesperson, Captain Elliot Sinyangana.

The 13 year-old lives with his Uncle Mr Loyiso Ngxunguse and Aunt at 20 Vultree Street, Tuscany Glen in Eerste River.

“Gqozombana was last seen wearing a maroon jersey, grey trouser, white shirt and black shoes. He is 1, 4 m tall, has dark eyes, short black hair and is dark brown in complexion,” says Sinyangana.

Meanwhile in a separate incident Leroy Swartz also known as Danny also believed to be handicapped disappeared from his home in Parkwood, Grassy Park on Saturday.

“Danny is 1.7m tall weighing approximately 50kg, has medium length hair, brown eyes, a moustache and brown in complexion,” says police spokesperson, Andre Traut.

Traut added that Danny is Afrikaans speaking and was last seen wearing a brown t-shirt, cream coloured long pants and a pair of red takkies.
