A much sought-after 18-year-old male was arrested at his home in Crossroads,Nyanga on Monday following several charges of attempted murder, robbery and hijacking.

According to police the suspect is Nyanga’s most wanted for all the crimes he allegedly committed last year.

The man faces charges of attempted murder, robbery, hi-jacking and possession of an illegal firearm.

"Six other men were also arrested during the Nyanga police’s day long operation to trace wanted suspects," says police spokesperson Superintendant Billy Jones.

The six men are believed to have been the 18 year-old’s accomplices during his alleged crime spree last year.

The seven suspects were expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
