# On the 18th of October, BlackNoise, Lusay and Ithuba arts will be hosting a fund raising show for Ekhuselweni children's home in Khayelitsha. The show will take place at the UWC peforming arts faculty. For more information you may contact Ntsika on 0783214165 or Lusay on 0826862714.
# The Athlone Academy of Music will be hosting its yearly spring ball on Friday 24 October at the Rylands Civic Centre. The event starts at 7pm and tickets will cost you R50. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Nerina Brass Band. To book tickets or for more information, you may contact the academy on 021 697 2120.
# Tiger Academy of martial Arts will have karate classes every Wednesday at the Weltervreden Recreation Centre. These classes start at 6:30pm and costs R1 per training session. For more information you may call Cobe Jephta on 021 392 6958 or on 083 998 9769.
# Ajax Cape Town will be hosting open trials at their training facility Ikamva. The trials will start at 9am and late comers will not be accommodated. All trialists should bring and ID document, original clinic card and original birth certificate. Trials for under 11 players will be on the 18th October, trials for under 13 players will be on the 25t October, trials for under 15 will be on the 1 of November and trials for the under 17 will be held on the 8 of November.
