Police open murder docket after alleged suicide pact

On Tuesday an elderly couple and their son were found dead after a shooting incident in their Brackenfell home. Although police say that they found a note indicating a suicide pact between the three.

“At the moment we can confirm that a murder docket was opened and is still being investigated. However on the scene a note was found which basically stated that all three parties were in mutual agreement to end their lives,”said SAPS spokesperson Inspector Erica Crous

According to reports, the couple died on the scene from gunshot wounds to their heads and their son was found next to them in a critical condition. He later died in hspital.
