Premier Lynne Brown will tomorrow be making her first and most probably last State of the Province Address at Provincial Parliament. The African National Congress hopes that she will address the issue of poverty in the Western Cape.
“The ANC expects the Premier to announce what further steps government will take to ensure that we continue the war on poverty in our province,” said the ANC's Max Ozinsky.
In light of the recent taxi violence, police killings and crime in the Western Cape, Ozinsky says that crime should also be high on the list of topics to be addressed.
