Early this morning, members of the SA Police service were called out to a house robbery in Camps Bay.
The suspects, armed with knives, entered the house by forcing a window open.
The residents were locked in the bedrooms while the suspects ransacked the house. The suspects fled the scene and are still at large.
“At this stage it seems that 2 laptops, 3 cell phones, jewellery and cash were taken.”, said Bernadine Steyn, captain for the South African Police Service.
Steyn added that the family are still in the process of compiling a list of all the stolen items.
Nobody sustained any injuries in the incident.
The police have opened a case docket of House Robbery for investigation. Anyone with information can contact the Investigating Officer, Constable Gerome Mathews at the Caps Bay Police station on 021 437 8140.
