A crime operation dubbed ‘Prosper’ conducted over the weekend in the Khayelitsha resulted in the arrest of 9 suspects on possession of drugs.
“A large quantity of dagga and tik, as well as a motor vehicle were confiscated during operations,” said SAPS spokesperson superintendent Andre Traut
“Fines to the tune of R 188950.00 were issued by SAPS and other law enforcement agencies who participated in the operations. We will be conducting similar operations in days to come and criminals will feel the heat in the areas affected,” said Traut
