Filling stations across the country would have enough fuel supply for the long Easter weekend.
This was announced by The South African Fuel Retailers Association. It’s been reported that some services stations in parts of the country ran out of fuel, due to the ongoing road freight industry strike.
Thousands of workers downed tools four days ago over a wage dispute. The association’s Reggie Sibiya said Engen seemed to be on top of its game. This is because Engen did not belong to the union that is on strike.
Talks between Satawu and employers were expected to resume on Tuesday and it is with hope that an agreement would be reached for fuel deliveries to resume.
