A pedestrian in his 20s was allegedly hit by a Volkswagen Golf on Potsdam Road just past the Killarney Race Track yesterday.
ER24 spokesperson Tristad Wadeley says the patient was unconscious on arrival of emergency services. He says, “advancedlife support interventions were carried out to help the patient breathe.”
The man sustained a suspected head injury as well as fractures to his left arm and leg. The man was transported by ambulance to Groote Schuur Hospital in a critical condition.
