Three suspects were arrested on charges of attempted murder in Manenberg earlier today.
“A 6 year old girl was playing on the grounds of Downville Primary School in Tagus Road Manenberg when she was caught in the cross fire of one of the suspects, and wounded in her chest,” said SAPS spokesperson Superintendent Andre Traut
“She was admitted to a local hospital in a serious but stable condition. Soon after the incident, police arrested three suspects’ two men and one female who now face charges of attempted murder,” said Traut
The three are being detained and will make a court appearance once they are charged.
