Five people were injured after a collision between a taxi and a municipal truck this morning on the N2, towards Plettenberg Bay.
The taxi driver and his assistant both sustained minor injuries and were taken to Knysna Provincial Hospital.
Three occupants at the back of the truck were also injured in the collision, two sustained moderate injuries and one sustained minor injuries, they were taken to Knysna Private Hospital for further treatment
“A second taxi went into a ditch at the side of the road in order to avoid the collision, there were no injuries reported from that taxi,” said Trisan Wadely ER24 spokesperson.
Wadely says all lanes on the N2 were closed for around forty five minutes while emergency services worked on scene.
