City of Cape Town Executive Mayor Dan Plato will meet with community leaders from Philadelphia today.
The mayor wants to hear what residents feel are their most important service delivery needs. Mayor Plato will walk through the area with several councillors.
According to a media release, “following violent service delivery protests throughout the country, the City of Cape Town is fully committed to improving service delivery in impoverished communities.
“An important part of this is maintaining a dialogue between residents of these communities and the City’s leadership”.
