The Democratic Alliance says government's wasteful spending now stands at R318 million.
Chief whip Ian Davidson says the Department of Education continues to be one of the biggest spenders, splurging up to R267 000 on a budget vote party.
Davidson says the problem is that the lavish government spending shows no sign of dwindling.
