Cape Town disaster management is assisting hundreds of people left homeless after a number of shack fires overnight.
The blazes broke out in Site C, Khayelitsha, the KTC informal settlement and Philippi.
No injuries have been reported.
Meanwhile, the number of people left destitute by yesterday’s fire in Philippi has doubled to 400.
