Four people have died after the vehicle they were travelling in overturned near Kimberley.
A police spokesman, Captain Tony Modise, said the car had been travelling on the Barkly West-Winsorton Road yesterday morning when its tyre apparently burst.
The vehicle swerved off the road and overturned.
The five occupants had been flung out of the car.
A woman, aged 34, and a man, aged 23, died on the scene. Two female passengers died on their way to hospital.
The driver, aged 22, is in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
A case of culpable homicide has been opened.
