Johannesburg learner Catherine Paverd is celebrating the 11 distinctions which make her South Africa's top Independent Examinations Board matriculant.
Catherine studied at the De La Salle Holy Cross College. The eight-thousand IEB matrics achieved a 97-percent pass rate.
Catherine plans to do a bio-medical degree at the University of the Witwatersrand next year. But she says she has one more immediate obstacle: her driving licence exam next month.
