Johannesburg Metro police struck a double blow against crime when it turned out a man stopped for speeding in Midrand is wanted for various other crimes.
Spokesperson Wayne Minnaar says the 34 year old man had been doing 162 kilometres per hour on the N1 north.
Police recovered a rifle and two magazines from his car.
He is also wanted for armed robbery and car hijacking.
