Mitchell’s Plain police is seeking the assistance of the public in tracing three suspects who allegedly robbed a man in Woodlands last month.
It is believed that a 44 year old parked his vehicle in Martin Road, Woodlands. A silver-grey Alpha Romeo with registration CA 431-544 pulled up behind him with three occupants.
“Two unknown males got out of the vehicle and approached the complainant, one dressed in police uniform.
“The suspects informed the complainant that they wanted to search his vehicle. They then instructed the complainant to open the boot,” said police spokesperson IG Williams.
The suspects removed a cooler bag which contained R83 000 two cell phones with a value of R4000.
The suspects then jumped into their vehicle and drove off.
William says an identikit of the three suspects has been released .
