Paramedics attended to two shooting incidents that left one man dead and another wounded.
In the first incident in Kiaat Street in Kraaifontein Industrial, a man was shot dead in the doorway to a business.
ER24 spokesperson Tristan Wadeley says the patient was dead on arrival of paramedics.
“The circumstances around the shooting were unclear to emergency medical personnel but police are investigating the incident,” said Wadeley.
Meanwhile, at the corners of Old Paarl Road and Peterson Road in Brackenfell, a man was hospitalised after sustaining a gunshot wound to the leg.
It is not known who shot the man and what the motive was.
