Police seek public assistance in armed robbery case

Sea Point police is requesting the assistance of the public in tracing 30 year old, Thando Owen Skhukhula who can assistance in an armed robbery case.

Inspector Bheki Xulu says it is alleged that Skhukhula robbed a 44 year old man a cash of R11 000 at gunpoint.

“The complainant had just withdrew cash at a bank in Regent Road, on his way to a hotel in Solomon’s road, an unidentified male, armed with a firearm grabbed the his bag,” said Xulu

Xulu says the suspect fled the scene in a Grey Toyota Yaris with registration number CA 276820.

An armed robbery case was opened at Sea Point police station for investigation.

Xulu adds that the suspect was last seen in the Gugulethu area.
