One person died and three injured in two different accidents

One person died after a car and scooter collided with a car on Langeberg Road in Durbanville.

ER24 spokesperson Tristan Wadeley says the driver of the scooter sustained multiple injuries and was taken to Tygerberg Hospital for further medical care.

“A pedestrian was hit by a car on the N1 near Koeberg interchange, when paramedics arrived on the scene they found the man in a critical condition lying stuck under the steel barrier. The patient later died in hospital.

“In another incident, three school children were injured in an incident involving a minibus taxi, a truck and a car, on Potsdam Road in Killarney Gardens. An adult patient was also taken to hospital from the collision, said Tristan Wadeley.
