Five children, including a six month old baby were found left alone in a house in Bonteheuwel yesterday.
Police spokesperson Captain Marie Louw says this was after they were informed by the public about the situation.
“We investigated the situation and found the children left alone in a very dirty house with no food,” she said.
The six month old baby was sleeping on the end of the bed with cats and dogs around her.
