As part of the many Freedom Day celebrations across the country deputy home affairs minister Malusi Gigaba, will address the Youth Economic Development Summit in Pietermaritzburg.
The summit is convened by the Maritzburg Christian Church in celebration of Freedom Day.
The summit will bring together young people from Msunduzi Municipality under one roof to address socio-economic issues in the 21st Century.
Gigaba, who hails from Kwa-Zulu Natal will address the meaning of democracy for young people.
He is also expected to speak on economic and skills development opportunities and moral regeneration.
